Transforming care: Improved data, reporting, and efficiency

Westminster Talking Therapies is a free, confidential NHS service which provides psychological treatment for depression and anxiety disorders. Westminster required a system that didn’t just store information but allowed users to run reports, measure impact, and manage patient journeys efficiently.

The challenge

Staff challenges included time management due to high and complex caseloads, leading to feelings of overwhelm, stress, and burnout. This resulted in delays in patient care, including slower clinical decision-making, longer wait times for communication  and delays in recording or actioning clinical processes.

As patient demand continues to increase and caseloads become more complex, Westminster required an efficient, scalable, and clinician-friendly system.

The solution

Since implementation, Westminster has evolved to use a wide range of iaptus functionality, seeing significant improvements in clinical efficiency, data quality, and reporting capabilities.

Moving from manual, scanned records to fully integrated digital notes and communication methods dramatically improved the efficiency and quality of clinical documentation.

Features like Online Appointment Booking confirmations, automated appointment reminders, and secure digital clinical records help to:

  • Make it easier for patients to stay engaged.
  • Reduce missed appointments.
  • Ensure faster responses to clinical needs.
  • Deliver a smoother, more reliable care experience.
