Resolve is an NHS staff support service offering counselling to NHS staff in Derbyshire as part of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS). The service offers a range of individual and team psychological support for Derbyshire Community Health Services and Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust staff. They chose iaptus electronic health record as a diary management and clinical notes system, to support teams working across multiple locations.
The challenge
Resolve had been using a paper notes system for over 30 years in a community trust setting, which had its obvious limitations. During the pandemic, there were obvious blockers and risks to paper notes being inaccessible in people’s homes and the need for an electronic health record became urgent. Being a community trust and working across many sites, the clear risk of having personal information in people’s homes was not a manageable confidentiality risk.
“iaptus was recommended to us. Every contact we had with the Mayden team instilled such great confidence. Aside from the product being everything we needed, the people we met along the way seemed such decent human beings we felt we were in the safest of hands.” Barabara Fountain, Clinical & Service Lead, Resolve Staff Support Service.
The solution
iaptus is rich with features to speed up admin processes, improve patient flow and support with reporting requirements. As an EPR the system ensures clinical safety so clinicians can focus on the work they’re here to do.
“The system is straightforward and ticks every box for us. Being able to offer on the spot supervision and risk management, despite being 20/30 miles apart from the team, is absolutely fantastic and gives significant clinical assurance in our team.
iaptus definitely makes us more efficient and responsive as a service and I can’t recommend it highly enough as an affordable solution to clinical records management, plus you get to work with a great company, with very nice staff and a great ethos.”
