Tees Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) is the Mental Health and Learning Disability NHS Trust for County Durham and Darlington, Teesside, North Yorkshire, York and Selby.
Their Talking Therapies programme provides a range of therapies for adults who are experiencing difficulties such as anxiety and depression.
The challenge
TEWV identified that staff were leaving the service and/or turning down posts offered due to the lack of a bespoke Talking Therapies patient record system. Since the implementation of iaptus, they have noticed a marked improvement in staff retention and overall wellbeing.
The solution
Since implementation, iaptus has reduced the amount of time that staff spend inputting data onto the record system, which has improved staff wellbeing and retention. It has also afforded them the ability to look in more granular detail at data, trends and performance, which has had a knock on positive impact on their service’s performance.
