Building community, gathering feedback, and shaping the future of iaptus.

At Mayden, our user events have a clear purpose: to build a vibrant iaptus community and gather actionable feedback. These forums are invaluable for collaboration and idea exchange, directly influencing the future of iaptus and the service we provide.

Over the last two years, we’ve been dedicated to engaging our community through both in-person and online events. We have been continually evolving our approach to ensure we’re effectively building connections with users. So, read on to see what we have been up to!

The iaptus User Group Highlights 2023/2024

Our 2023 in-person event, the first since 2018, brought users together for a day of workshops. Notably, a key focus was the pilot launch of iaptus insights, our enhanced AI and data-driven analytics offering. Through backlog and Webforms refinement sessions, users helped us prioritise future developments.

Our commitment continued into 2024, with a two-day event in Manchester for users across Adult and Children and Young People’s (CYP) mental health services. A key takeaway was how seriously user opinions are valued, with attendees praising the interactive nature and sense of involvement. Discussions centred on user challenges, data usage for better outcomes, enhanced user connections, improved patient communication, and boosting service efficiency.

Additionally, we were especially excited to launch Electronic Letters. This is a new feature designed to increase patient access to correspondence while reducing administrative burden. We also launched Tasks, new core functionality for setting up, categorising and prioritising tasks that are automatically linked to a particular patient record. Crucially, both enhancements were developed directly from valuable user input, showcasing how our user feedback sessions drive impactful improvements.

The iaptus Open Day 2025

This July, we were thrilled to welcome users to The Old Dairy, our headquarters, for a day of engaging workshops. Attendees dived into our latest initiative, The Patient Support Network. Specifically, this is a series of enhancements to our suite of features, providing services the flexibility to connect seamlessly with a patient’s wider support network. Our second workshop offered users comprehensive overviews of iaptus reporting and analytics features, designed to empower services with deeper insights.

The event wrapped up with a high-energy speed networking forum, facilitating quick, insightful conversations. This features topics such as AI, workflow improvements, data complexities, and strengthening in-person relationships.

Overall, our annual user events are a real highlight for the team at Mayden. They provide an incredibly important platform for us to connect directly with our users. They’re not just about sharing roadmap updates and our vision; they’re about gathering invaluable feedback and creating a forum for users to connect with one another and share ideas. Ultimately, we believe in transforming health and care together, and bringing our users together from across the country plays a vital part in this collaborative effort.
