Bath, UK — 9 January 2025 — ClinicLetter.ai (CLAI), an ambient scribe solution, joins Mayden to expand digital support for clinicians.
CLAI is the ambient scribe built for the NHS. Ambient Voice Technology (AVT) solutions are being widely adopted by healthcare services due to their ability to significantly reduce manual data entry and give clinicians back valuable time that can be better spent on patient care. CLAI is a simple way to transcribe letters, generate clinical coding and automate follow up orders demonstrating up to 30% reduction in administration.
The addition of CLAI strengthens Mayden’s mission to transform health and care by expanding their digital offering, helping to free up capacity for clinicians whilst enabling better outcomes for the people they support.
Reece Donovan, CEO at Mayden says: “Welcoming CLAI to Mayden reflects our commitment to developing and supporting tools that make a meaningful difference to those delivering and accessing health and care services. CLAI will join our existing product portfolio – iaptus, theseus and bacpac – and deepens our ability to support services across the NHS, local authorities, VCSE’s and the private sector.
At Mayden, our focus is supporting our customers with technology that improves the efficiency and quality of services, the working lives of professionals and the experience of care for the people they serve. That made the addition of CLAI a very simple decision. From the outset, it was clear we share the same values and a commitment to building technology collaboratively with our customers that drive real, tangible value. I’m excited about what we can achieve together.”
James Balmain, Co-Founder at CLAI says: “Joining Mayden feels like a natural next step for us. As a small business, CLAI needed the help and support of a larger organisation and in Mayden we’re really confident we’ve found a brilliant owner. There is obvious value for us to add within the community mental health space, as providers begin to unlock the transformative power in AVT technologies – we can’t think of a more suitable use case than longer format mental health encounters.
Mayden has a clear and well recognised commitment to building technology that genuinely supports the people using it – this focus on real-world impact is directly aligned with our sense of mission at CLAI. We’re delighted to be a part of the Mayden team and to continue on this journey together”.
