Mayden launches our new, time-saving feature in iaptus, Electronic Letters (e-letters).
This empowering new addition allows letters to be sent securely from iaptus, directly to a patient’s mobile device. Our team at Mayden is dedicated to building tools that transform service efficiency. Therefore, this is why we’re pleased that Electronic Letters is proven to save valuable administrative time and support patient engagement.
Electronic Letters allows you to:
- Deliver real-time status updates, allowing appropriate action to be taken when patients have received, accessed or viewed a letter.
- Significantly reduce the administrative workload by offering a quicker method of letter sending.
- Offer measurable reductions in both environmental impact and overall costs.
- Provide tailored workflows around contacting patients, based on how they choose to interact with the letters you send.
The feature also works in combination with our GP Electronic Letters functionality. Both tools take advantage of Multiple Send Methods, our workflow allowing services to send multiple copies in one single click. Furthermore, you can learn more about features to support communication here.
iaptus product owner, Josh Stanley said: “Working with the team to build the new e-letters feature has been a great experience. We were thrilled by the success of our pilot launch, and I’m excited to see the positive impacts this feature will unlock for other iaptus customers. Patients can instantly and securely access their letters (no waiting on the postman!), plus the feature’s environmental impact (lots of paper saved!) will bring a range of benefits.
All of this should mean better, more efficient communication and therefore an improved relationship between patient and service!”
